A model-independent analysis of $$b{\rightarrow }s\mu ^{+}\mu ^{-}$$transitions with GAMBIT ’s FlavBit

Abstract The search for flavour-changing neutral current effects in B -meson decays is a powerful probe of physics beyond the Standard Model. Deviations from SM behaviour are often quantified by extracting preferred values Wilson coefficients an operator product expansion. We use module package to perform simultaneous global fit $$C_7$$ C 7 , $$C_9$$ 9 and $$C_{10}$$ 10 using combination all data on $$b{\rightarrow }s\mu ^{+}\mu ^{-}$$ b → s μ + - transitions. further extend previous analyses accounting correlated theoretical uncertainties at each point coefficient parameter space, rather than deriving Model calculation. find that best deviates value with significance 6.6 $$\sigma $$ σ . largest deviation associated vector coupling muons b s quarks.
